Welcome
Welcome to the Hellenic Cultural Association (HCA) of Utah's website. On behalf of the entire HCA board, I extend a warm welcome to you. We are thrilled you have chosen to visit our website to explore the rich cultural heritage of the Greeks in Utah. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable journey through time! As you explore our website and museum, you will embark on a captivating voyage that will transport you to the lives of our ancestors who traveled to Utah, settled here, and eventually created a thriving community for themselves and each other. Our museum is a “People’s Museum,” and it houses a vast collection of artifacts and exhibits that showcase the lives of the early Greek men and women, who carved out a place for themselves amid the difficulties of learning a new language and becoming part of the American society, while at the same time staying true to their Hellenic heritage, traditions, and spiritual beliefs.
We believe museums are bridges connecting the past, present, and future, and we are committed to providing you with an engaging and enlightening experience. Our knowledgeable board has meticulously prepared each exhibit to ensure an informative and enjoyable visit for all. During your time at our museum and our site, we encourage you to take your time and explore at your own pace. Feel free to delve into the captivating stories behind each artifact, marvel at the intricate craftsmanship, and let your imagination soar as you connect with the turn of the century when Greek immigrants brought their ancient heritage to a new world. In addition to our permanent collection, we also host temporary exhibitions that showcase various aspects of Greek culture and its influences on the world. Our museum exhibits provide a fresh perspective and offer new insights into the diverse facets of our history
